ER-TFT1.54-3 is a square 1.54-inch IPS TFT display, featuring a sharp resolution of 320×320 pixels. With an impressive contrast ratio of 900:1, it excels in rendering deep blacks and vibrant colors, ensuring a visually striking experience. Its exceptional brightness of 700 cd/m² makes it suitable for use in various lighting conditions, both indoors and outdoors. The IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology provides full viewing angles of 80° in all four directions (left, right, up, down), so image quality and color accuracy remain consistent no matter which angle the display is viewed from.
The ER-TFT1.54-3 is built around the ST7796S single-chip controller/driver, a well-established and widely supported IC that integrates power circuitry, RAM, and display timing control on one chip. The module supports multiple interface options: parallel 8080 8-bit / 9-bit / 16-bit modes, as well as serial 3-wire / 4-wire SPI, giving designers flexibility to choose between fast data transfers or pin-efficient serial connections depending on their host MCU.
