The ER-EPD037-2RY from EastRising is a 3.7-inch is e-paper/e-ink panel that mimics the appearance of ink on normal paper. Unlike conventional displays, ePaper reflects light – just like ordinary paper – and is capable of holding text and images indefinitely, even without electricity. Because of this, ePaper displays and single board computers or microcontrollers are a match made in heaven as together they use a very small amount of power whilst still bringing a display to your project. This module is an excellent choice for applications requiring a reliable, medium-sized display with excellent viewing characteristics.

The ePaper display that comes with this ER-EPD037-2RY is a 3.7 inch 240x416 resolution with white/black/red/yellow color with embedded controller, communicating via SPI interface. One fantastica aspect of the ePaper display is the fact they don't need any power to keep the image on the screen. Just like a Kindle, you can read whatever is on your screen in daylight without any reflection. It comes with IST7163 controller,compact size (COG package),high contrast, sun readable,FPC connection,optional FPC connector.It supports 3/4-wire serial interface.

To fastly get started, please consider our e-paper panel connected with arduino shield or raspberry pi HAT. Libraries and samples are available for all of them.
