ER-TFT043A3-3 is 480x272 pixels sunlight readable 4.3 inch color tft lcd display panel with 1000cd/m2 brightness backlight,driver IC ST7282 and optional capacitive and resistive touch panel,superior display quality,wide view angle and easily controlled by MCU such as 8051, PIC, AVR, ARDUINO,ARM and Raspberry PI .
It can be used in any embedded systems,car,mp4,gps,industrial device,security and hand-held equipment which requires display in high quality and colorful image.It supports rgb interface. The LED backlight driver IC we suggest to use for this display is PT4110.

I have the same question as Pieter. From the ST7282 datasheet, it is not possible to send any commands or change any registers without using the serial interface, and that serial interface is not provided on the 40-pin flex.
Are you saying that no initialization of the ST7282 is required, and everything was set at the factory? Just configure the MCU LCD peripheral and go?
Even if this is true, there are still ST7282 registers that users might want to change. For example, on pages 39-40 of the datasheet, I see registers for setting brightness, contrast, and gamma. These will not be accessible.
Is there a demo of this display to prove that it actually works? Because leaving out the serial interface seems like it might have been a mistake made by the designers. I just want to make sure that this module actually functions.

Dear Mark,
1. This TFT display only support RGB interface.
2. Here is the instruction about how does the display work.
> pls refer to our display datasheet page 9 for the pin configuration and then make the hardware connection between MCU and LCD accordingly.
> Regarding the software part,there is no need to make the setting for any registers as all of them are default value and doesn't support to change, you just need to make the setting for VSYNC,HSYNC,DCLK Period, DCLK Frequency in your initialization code and you could get the parameters from ST7282 datasheet page 60.

Hello,
The data communication lines of the driver for use with a microcontroller are not on the 40 pins socket of the LCD. It seems that the driver circuit is then pre-programmed in your factory. There is however no information to find in the data sheet or other documents how the driver ST7282 is configured (Register settings). Is that information available?
We intend to use this circuit together with the Bridgetek FT800 circuit in a new development of a product of which several thousands will be sold. We need to be sure it can be used.

hello,
Pls note that ER-TFT043A3-3 TFT Display only support RGB interface, So you will need a lcd controller or MCU with lcd control function to communicate with it.
You mentioned about FT800, I assume it has lcd control function?
For hardware connection, You only need to connect the pins from 4.3" tft display to corresponding pins from your controller.
For software part, You need to refer to ST7282 datasheet page 57-63 to set some parameters like front/back porch and etc... in your initialization code.
