2.79 inch 142x428 Resolution IPS TFT LCD Display NV3007 4-Wire SPI

Description

ER-TFT2.79-2 is a 2.79-inch ultra-narrow IPS TFT LCD display​ with a vertical bar format of 142×428 pixels​ (21.28×66.14 mm active area, 22.28×65.14 mm visual area), built for front panels and embedded enclosures where a square or 4:3 screen cannot fit. The IPS cell provides a full 80°/80°/80°/80°​ viewing cone, 65K/262K​ color depth, a 1200:1​ typical contrast ratio, and 400 cd/m²​ brightness, so menus, gauges, scrolling text, and waveform strips stay vivid from any mounting angle.

ER-TFT2.79-2 integrates the NV3007​ controller in COG packaging and communicates over a 4-wire serial SPI​ interface (SDA, SCL, DC, CS, RESET) on a 12-pin FPC (also exposing TE tearing-effect output and SDO for SPI read-back). Logic runs at 2.8–3.6 V typ. 3.3 V, drawing ~8 mA operating and 20–40 µA in sleep-in mode. The 5-chip LED backlight needs 2.9–3.1 V @ 75–100 mA​ and is rated for 30,000 hours at 25 ℃. No touch panel is mounted (capacitive option ER-TPC2.79-1 listed as under development) and the module is not sunlight-readable, keeping it a 24.38×69.43×2.1 mm pure output display.

We provide NV3007 demo code, SPI wiring examples, and graphics-library references for Arduino (Uno, Nano, Mega, Due with 3.3 V logic or level shifting), STM32, ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi Pico​, so you can render vertical bars, bitmaps, and GUIs without writing a low-level driver. The 30 ms typical response time handles status strips, level meters, and instrumentation UIs cleanly. As with all TFT panels, avoid displaying a fixed image longer than 2 hours to prevent temporary image sticking.

Rated for −20~+70 ℃​ operating and −30~+80 ℃​ storage, ER-TFT2.79-2 targets indoor industrial cabinets, desktop instruments, and enclosed electronics. It is not intended for direct-sunlight outdoor use.

That is suitable for a wide range of applications, including industrial control side panels, audio level meters, medical aux readouts, smart-home wall controllers, portable test instruments, and any MCU project that needs a taller, thinner color status display than a 116×420 bar panel can provide.
